Swimming Sports

This year's swimming sports was another success with all the boys giving it their best. The picnic lunch with parents was a fantastic way to start the day and the turn out from Cotter House parents was terrific. Enjoy the pictures.

Year 7 Camp at Long Bay

I was fortunate to be able to visit the boys camping at Long Bay on Thursday morning. Camping may not be the best word as it was more of a resort than a camp! The boys were all in good spirits, busy with the many activities available to them.

Tobogganing with Gibson Year 8s

A favorite pastime of the boys in Cotter is to toboggan down the side of Mt Hobson.

A new start in Cotter

What was your first week at Dilworth and in Cottter House like?

Raymon

“Incredible. Never thought it would be like this. I thought it would be boring.”

Kaia

“I found it awesome. Going swimming and just being able to learn and have a good education.”

Chris

It’s been pretty cool. Made a heap of friends and found a lot of books my family and I like in the library. Class has been real cool. Little bit homesick.”

Patrick

“I’ve had fun playing with my friends on the playground. Playing touch with the other boys. The food is really nice.”

Andre

“Very exciting. The routines from MacMurray House are very different. I like that you can stay up later than in MacMurray House.”

Lorance

“It’s been hard getting used to the new routines. It’s cool.”

Phillip

“The new boys have made a lot of friends. They aren’t shy. Not afraid to ask or answer questions.”
