Twister Fun

Hame the Housemaster

One of the ways we reward boys 'caught' being good is to give them a Green Card. There are a number of Green Cards which they randomly select. These range from prep in the tv room, coke, smoothie, wild card, Housemaster for the day and many more.

Hame was the Housemaster for the day and did a fantastic job running the House.

P.S. I don't spend my time at my desk eating pizza!

Visit to St Marks

As part of our Founder's Day celebrations the DJC visited St Marks. St Marks is the church James and Isabella Dilworth attended and where they are both buried. It is a special place for us and Dilworth has a very long history with the church. It was where the early Dilworth boys attended chapel before we had our own one built at the Senior Campus.

Cotter House BBQ and Chapel

Hello there,

This Sunday 19th March we have our BBQ and chapel service. It is an opportunity to strengthen ourselves as a community as we come together to share food and worship together.

The BBQ begins at 5.15pm and we ask that you bring a some food to share. This might be a dessert, a salad or a cooked main. If you bring 2 people, bring enough food for 2. If you bring 10 people, then please bring enough for 10. We will provide drinks and be cooking about 100 sausages.

The Year 8 boys will be leading the service and we've all been practising for this Sunday.

This is a great opportunity to get to know one another and forge new friendships. As parents/ guardians you are going to be bumping into one another for years to come. Find out who lives nearby so you can ride-share. This could make life a lot easier for you, especially when the boys are at the Rural Campus in Mangatawhiri.

See you then.
